David has an extensive background within the sport of touch football, particularly within the North Queensland region, including holding various positions within the NQTA.

- NQTA Assistant Technical Director
- NQTA Development Officer
- QLD Referees Panel
- National Referees Panel
In 1994, David was also made a Life member of the North Queensland Touch Association Inc.
David will commence his role with the NQTA on Monday July 21, 2014, and will be in contact with all local associations within the Far North in the near future.
