North Queensland Touch Association Inc. (NQTA) was formed in 1978 and started with ten affiliates from the North Queensland Region, this area stretches from Glenden in the South, out to Mount Isa in the west and up to Weipa & Thursday Island in the North.
Currently, NQ Touch Football has over 15,000 registered members within our 22 affiliates. These statistics place the sport among the top participated based, organised sports in North Queensland.
