Vouchers are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Applications close on 15 October 2013 or earlier, if the allocation is fully subscribed. A maximum of $150 per voucher is available to help pay the cost of sport or recreation membership and/or participation fees.
As at 4pm on last Friday 19 July, approx. 4600 were issued. Therefore there is still approx 7,400 vouchers available in this round.
Individuals eligible to apply for a voucher are children and young people from the age of five and under the age of 18 who are residents of Queensland and:
- hold or whose parent, carer or guardian holds a Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card
- other children or young people identified by two referral agents.
Note: Limit of one voucher per child/young person per calendar year. If a child received a voucher in Round 1, they are not eligible for another voucher until Round 3 (January 2014).
