The Bundaberg Cup – In Brief

Divisions

It is anticipated that five divisions will be offered at the Bundaberg Cup, including:

·         Men’s

·         Women’s

·         Mixed

·         Under 15’s Boys

·         Under 15’s Girls.

Teams will be placed in pools of similar ability within the divisions.

Prize Money

The total prize money pool for the event is anticipated to be $6,300.

Entry Fee

The cost to enter a team will be $200 (GST inclusive).

Draw Structure

·         Round Games (Saturday)

All teams would participate in three round games on the Saturday against similar opposition. Games would start around lunch time on the Saturday.

·         Knockout (Sunday)

Teams would be ranked based on their Saturday performance and Sunday games will be in the knockout format (i.e. teams will be require to win all games to progress). Depending on the amount of teams that nominate in each division, a B Grade knockout may be offered on the Sunday.

Elite Eight Teams

Elite Eight teams have been approached to have training camps at the event.
