How people will find your competitions or teams and register?
The portal going live means people will be able to find competitions and teams to register to via the Finder that will be visible at the top of the home page. There will also be a REGISTER button at the top of every page on the site. So if you have your own association website, link to www.touchfootball.com.au so that people can register. The call to action for all competitions, no matter where they are, can simply now be ‘Go to www.touchfootball.com.au to register’.

How will a team contact register their team?
Team contacts will register their team by clicking the very obvious first component on the home page and other relevant pages of the website, called ‘Register Your Team’. That will take them to www.touchfootball.com.au/register-your-team (not yet live; this will go live once the Finder goes live) then they will follow the easy steps to register a team. Once a team is registered, individual players will be able to find that team to register to via the above-mentioned Finder 👆 or the link their team contact has sent them. You can link to www.touchfootball.com.au/register-your-team from your own website when prompting team registrations.

Close competitions unless you have a return-to-play date
For those of you that do not yet have return-to-play dates but who have set up competitions in MySideline, ‘close’ those competitions until you have dates from your state government and specific starting dates and details locked in for your competitions. This will prevent people registering to something that may need to change, which will significantly complicate and add to your administrative burden. Find info on how to close competitions here. If you close a competition, people can still find your competition and get in touch. More on that below.

What will happen if I close my competition but someone finds it through the Finder?
If someone finds a competition through the Finder but the competition is closed, a GET IN CONTACT button will appear so they can submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) that will come to you. You can report on these interested people by running the Expression of Interest Report.

System support
Requests for system support for both administrators and participants should be made through the Help/Support widget at the bottom of the screen. The registration process is made to be simple and user-friendly, though support cases will increase as participants start accessing support too, so the team will respond as soon as possible. If you need urgent assistance but haven't heard back from us quickly enough, contact your regional contact.
