Queensland Touch Football (QTF) is excited to announce the extension of its partnership with Guzman y Gomez (GYG) for the 2026 and 2027 Junior State Cup (JSC). 

This renewal builds on a valued partnership that began in 2023, continuing to enrich the experience for players, referees, volunteers, and families across Queensland, while expanding GYG’s presence across QTF’s premier junior events. 

As part of the agreement, Guzman y Gomez will continue as the presenting partner of the GYG Post Game Feed on the Junior State Cup Broadcast. The segment has become a signature feature of the event, celebrating our community, standout performances, emerging talent and the stories behind Queensland Touch Football’s young athletes. 

Queensland Touch Football Chief Executive Officer Greg Denny said the partnership reflects a strong alignment of values. “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Guzman y Gomez, whose support since 2023 has significantly enhanced our Junior State Cup event. Their commitment to celebrating our players, referees and families aligns perfectly with our values, and we look forward to delivering even more memorable experiences together in 2026 and 2027.” 

A key enhancement is GYG’s expanded onsite activations across both the Junior State Cup and Junior State Cup North events., GYG will deliver: 

  • A vibrant and engaging GYG event presence onsite 

  • Exclusive goodies and giveaways for players and families 

  • Most Valuable Player (MVP) vouchers for each team 

  • Referee recognition vouchers, ensuring our officials are celebrated too
